In the episode entitled, AI in Public Health Dr. Kavanaugh discusses how Zona Rosa Dental is using Pearl’s Dental AI Software to improve patient care. On December 6th, 2025 ZRD hosted their 24th Annual Cookies with Santa event. It was great fun to bring our families and our patients families together for a fun morning of cookie decoration and visits with Santa Claus.
During the holiday months, members of the community can drop off food at Zona Rosa Dental to support Harvester’s Food Bank. This project is coordinated by our lead assistant, Shannon. In November and Decmber of 2025 ZRD patients contributed 608 pounds of food to Harvester’s!
Zona Rosa Dental was named Park Hill School District’s Partner of the Year in 2024. ZRD plays an active role in Park Hill’s Professional Studies program, which places student interns in professional environments.
One intern placed in our office shared: “My experience at Zona Rosa Dental was nothing but positive. I was able to learn about how a dental office runs behind the scenes and get real hands-on experience. The office itself has a great atmosphere and everybody was very welcoming to have somebody observe them. Being a high-schooler and walking into a professional space can be very intimidating, but I have never felt more welcomed and respected. The way the office was not only owned by a woman but everyone that works there is a woman was very empowering to me. Seeing that side of the business world was very eye opening and it made me excited for my future. Interning at Zona Rosa Dental solidified my future plans.”

The ZRD tooth fairies had a fun spooky time at the Rock of Ages Lutheran Church Trunk or Treat event. From spreading dental knowledge to cleaning off candy bugs, we had a lot of fun seeing all the smiles come by our trunk!
